Big World Candle Co is a candle brand designed to make home feel like home. Founded in 2020, best friends and entrepreneurs Alysse and Vicki set out to build something meaningful during a season of job loss, change, and uncertainty. A few honest conversations and one shared pull to bring comfort back into everyday life later, they landed on the answer: candles.

Not just home fragrance, but something more personal. Each Big World candle is crafted with intention and inspired by memory, place, and the feeling of home. Made with clean ingredients and thoughtful care, our candles turn ordinary spaces into places that hold atmosphere, hold memory, and hold you. From cozy evenings in to quiet mornings alone, Big World makes every part of your day a little more present.

Our brand IS the pause. We put intention into everything we do and approach each day with the calm of a flickering flame. We want our customers to feel grounded the moment they light a Big World candle, and that wouldn’t happen if our team weren’t thoughtful at every step of the process. By drawing on the places, memories, and moments that inspire us, we bring our scents to life, building not just a collection, but a ritual of slowing down and honoring the small moments that shape our lives.

As two Latina founders, Alysse and Vicki share one belief: the world is big, but home is where we return to ourselves. And sometimes, all it takes is a simple scent to get you there.
